Gourd Form Vase with Sunflower Medallion

This vase doesn't imitate nature — it recalls it. The form is a gourd: wide at the base, tapering upward to a pinched, scalloped opening that looks as though it was gathered by hand. Every surface is smooth and uninterrupted except for one — a deeply carved sunflower medallion that sits off-centre, radiating petals and a six-pointed heart outward in concentric rings.

Heavy in the hand, quietly authoritative on a shelf. It works as a standalone sculptural object or as a vessel for a single dried stem. Cast in metal with a matte patina, available in two finishes and two sizes.
